With another episode of a Rock Star Take On.
And this time the topic is CELIBACY
Kind of like the prelude to this season’s episode on Sexuality….

Because these videos are so heavy, I will be making a Rock Star Take on Sexuality every season.
So the Fall edition is upcoming.

The format of these videos is (ideally):
– videos are under 10 minutes
– and I go in without preparation

And I really did not prepare!
Mainly because I thought I knew what I wanted to say.
So let’s find out.

2. It’s not ideal 01:20
Let’s be fair!
Rock Star and Celibacy don’t gel well together.

Despite Lenny Kravitz having been very open on his choice for celibacy;
It’s clearly not an ideal situation when you are a Rock Star.

3. The main reason 04:00
Rock Star and Celibacy don’t compute, is because sexuality and creativity are one and the same thing. In particular if your creative work is a physical performance.
It’s less easy to have access to your body, if you don’t have sex with a partner.

4. Rock Stars might still win!! 04:40
If Celibacy was a contest.
Because of who they are, and what they can do, a Rock Star Take on Celibacy is a liberating one.
And one we can all learn from, to rock life’s dry spells.
