There can be many real and identifiable reasons disturbing our faith, emotions, identity.
And at least one of them is Rock Star specific.

For what goes up, must come down.
Euphoria followed by a clingy, needy, unsatisfied anger.
Or intense loneliness.

Like every real Rock Star will tell you, about how they feel in their hotel room afterwards, in particular because they usually travel without a significant other.

Our society has us close to being programmed to wanting a regulated life.
Peak-performance theories try to change that into the ambition to lead an extraordinary life.

But no one could prepare you, for a life where the highs are high, and the inevitable lows have you pondering if maybe…. just maybe;
Should you settle down?

Creatively, in particular.
Who would notice if your high was not that high anymore?
And the extremes were capped to manageable proportions.

Then remember you are doing this because every time you fully engage, with your passion, your work, the things you love and people you love;
The well of love in you is filling up!

And in your fullest expression, it’s flowing out of you.
Regenerating? Yes! But sooner or later also at the same time;
Emptying it out.
Completely.

The darkness you feel inside of you, can only be filled with love;
But WHAT you love, is just a projection.

You, are source.

ABOUT THE LOST POST SERIES

I have been consistently posting “What Do Rock Stars Need To Hear Today” for a while now.
Starting June 2023, they found their final form as blogposts here on the Catacombe blog, pretty quickly.

But I’ve always been aware there were singular posts/ borderline poetry, still on social media, floating somewhere down my timeline.

Some at the beginning when I did not know what this series would be.
Some around the time in October/November 2023, when I lost access to this site.
And then a few in between.

And in addition to that there are the ones I did post on the blog, but whose stories revolve around things I no longer offer.
I will retrieve those too;
And give them a new story, that has the timeless quality they deserve.
