This week episode 6:
“🏎️🏁⏱️Just In Time”

In CREATOR we make our art/content, but you can plan anything with this system.

Welcome to The New Rock Star Channel.
We use the analogy of planning one week of a rock star tour, where the choice for different gigs symbolize the art your post on your social media.

The only rule for these videos is:
– no preparation
Because any process you don’t know by heart, belongs in the trash bin!

video recorded on Tuesday 17 March 2026

In this video;

1. Welcome to a new episode in the CREATOR series 00:00
And we’re turning up the heat, by adding some speed here!
With a more exciting way to plan:
Just In Time planning

2. The Safe Way To Plan 01:18
But before we get into the thrills of Just In Time planning;
Let’s first recap the more relaxed, spacious way to plan your production, which we also discussed in the previous videos.

The safe way to plan, is to separate creating content, from posting it, by one whole week.

What this means is:
– what you post, was content you created last week;
– what you create, is content that you post next week.

3. From being late to being just on time! 02:49
There may be things that won’t get done!
So you will start the week picking up the content which you did not finish in the previous week, because it just didn’t get done.

Which means your work for this week will not get done, and an even bigger chunk of this week’s work will be moved to the next.
And so on.

Until eventually all work is created in the week, or even on the day, it is also posted!

On a long enough timeline, all of creators will be creating Just In Time.

4. The spacious method is the way to start/ begin 05:12
Separating creating from posting, getting everything done in the previous week, allows you to get into the habit of creating content, and also gives you an understanding of the ins-and outs creating every pieces, and gets you to know your posting schedule intimately.

Start small with posting just one or two (pre-produced) pieces a week.
Let it grow to creating more pieces, having more posting days.
And ultimately, to creating the pieces closer to publication date (which will almost happen automatically).

5. Planning your week 07:28
Using the doll house, troll dolls and (laminated) cards that have your pieces of content on them.
(F.e. a card that says (create new) “Reel”)

You put the trolls/ pieces that you select to be created on the first floor, the room of Ready.
Move them through the doll house as you’re doing them.
And
Have them on the top floor (DONE) by the end of the week.

If you crate your pieces a week prior, all trolls are DONE, and in the Dome of Done (on the top floor)
If you create Just in Time, the pieces have been posted as well, and are on the balcony (on the top floor).

The difference between a Just in Time planning and a spacious, stress-free planning, is NOT in what you create!
You create the same.
The difference is in whether you have also shared it, or if this content is still waiting to be shared (next week).

6. Now with a Just in Time planning 13:58
Creating and posting all in one workflow, for one whole week.
The week starts will all pieces lined up (“Ready”) and at the end of the week, all content has been posted (balcony).

Introduction: Keeping pieces in transit
(will dedicate the next video to this – this is just an introduction)
Really big pieces of content can stay in transit, on the floor of Doing.
You can pick them up there next week.
