When you’re almost there!

Confronted your most personal fears, rinsed your deepest wounds and even successfully finished your Passive Aggressiveness Combat Training, which we all know almost none of us master;

There it is.
And you can start all over again.

Shame and capitalism.

If I was in the business of giving advice to dictators, new gurus or even invading aliens looking for the best hook to implement either their nefarious or virtuous agenda (it works on both);

Or even if I was doing nothing more than writing a blogpost for one reader in 2025 or in a timeline far far away;

I would give all of them the same advice.

Study shame and capitalism, and you will have all you need to understand, infiltrate, and conquer humanity.

And although I would try not to brag, especially in the case of aliens because there is little point in inter-galactic comparison, but I don’t think I would be able to refrain from adding;
“Trust me on this”
“Thank me later”
or even:
“You’re gonna love it”

We will do everything for money.
And we will do everything to not be shamed.

Humanity has built its own mental prison, and one the majority of us are not even aware of.
Yet this framework is not just built, but also attended to and freely maintained by everybody, as we go about unconsciously living its law.

We’ve all been both victims as well as henchmen, accomplices, and to both capitalist repression as well as shaming others even when it is just by parroting values that are based on exclusion.
On not being good enough and not worthy unless.

You think you’re finally making headway with this whole enlightenment thing and there it is…

(Shame:)

“You know, for a second there, yeah.

you decide the rules

Just because everybody’s afraid of the darkness of the sea;

The razor sharp ridges
Unexplored trenches and underwater caves

Doesn’t mean that includes you.

I’m on the cusp of two incredibly big changes in my life.
One professional, one private.
And in areas that have been challenging for me in the past.

They used to come with a whole bag of unsorted emotions, but the general label was that the professional bag carried more anger and frustration, and the private one loss and sadness, but also love.

This particular professional bag was one of the oldest ones I had.
I had never chosen it, or I had but in a “this one is the lesser of all evils” kind of way.
The bag came with the promise that I didn’t need to choose yet.

Whereas the private bag was one I had chosen very deliberately, and much more recent than the professional one.
I had made great sacrifices for her, as it came at great cost.
You could say I still I am still living the consequences of insisting this luxury bag to be mine.
Would not trade it for the world though.

And now both bags have been cleaned out, figuratively speaking
– although maybe it would be cool to select two bags from my collection to represent this new phase! –
and this summer they will step into this new life with me.

And in the words of Carrie Bradshaw, I couldn’t help but wonder:
Do they still carry that same baggage? The same emotions?
Somewhere deep inside the pockets.
Sewn in, between the seams.

But although only time will tell, I don’t think so.
Can’t find any residue, they appear to be clean.

And it mirrors the mental clarity I have now.
It was never about what anyone or anything tossed inside of them.
Not about unwanted baggage.

It’s about you treating them with dignity.
Knowing them inside and out.

And in return they’ll give you their power, their secrets and their darkest sorcery.

know evil

We cannot escape it, for it is present even in our loved ones.
And, you guessed it;
In ourselves.

It can enter if we leave but one door open. One area, where we allow ourselves the luxury of being in the dark and- BOOM!

For Christ’s sake;
Know what you’re dealing with.

I’m not too big on organized religion, but I’ll give them one thing;
At least they know what they’re dealing with.
There is a concept of Evil, something which has been dangerously missing from most spiritual lineages which emphasize union, light and love.

And I get it; If for 2000 years the most sordid crimes and systemic oppression has taken place in the name of the Lord, you’re not exactly keen on taking Christian ideas on board on the nature of good and evil.
In particular not when they can be linked directly to keeping the rich rich, the poor poor, and to keeping everyone not a white male the furthest away from power as patriarchy allows.
Which seems to have unlimited give, in that area.

But just because evil preaches about evil, and uses fear of it for its own gain, that does not mean evil itself does not exist. Nor that evil was ever limited to the people who had so effectively weaponized it.
Quit the opposite.

We must see human history as proof, that evil exists.
The least we can do is learn from history, even if it is just in its most generally-agreed-upon interpretation.

Looking back, and with an endgame against evil sorely missing, it should come as no surprise evil was allowed to endure, in the words of Lord of the Rings.

Perhaps because someone always takes the ring of power before it can be cast into the fires of Mount Doom;
Or perhaps because unlike in folklore, evil cannot be destroyed.

Whatever the reason, now is the time to look around you, or look into history and to judge for yourself;
Do you think Evil was present, during * fill in any catastrophic violation of human rights * ?
If the answer is Yes, then this means this Evil is still present today.

And it is your job to recognize it, and take the surprise out of it! 
Whatever happens on a world stage or whatever happens to you personally, you have already won half the battle if you expected it, because you have done your share of the cognitive reasoning.

It’s like when the dark planet Pluto was discovered in the 20th century;
They had known for ages this planet was there because they had suspected it since 1846 and they had calculated it since 1903, when Pluto was called Planet X. 

An active search began, and in 1930 they found it, and called it Pluto.

I want you to be as unsurprised when encountering evil, as astronomers  were discovering Pluto.
You are like an astronomer whom looking at known data, either suspects or knows for a fact, that planet X exists.

You do not have to go looking for it, but study whatever important historic facts you think are relevant here, and trust your conclusions on the subject.
And if you conclude Evil exists, then you should ingrain that knowledge deeply.

And think about what your strategy is, preferably before Evil comes knocking at your door. But definitely before you dip even one toe into the battlefield.

You should not be treading that lightly, thinking it will not be so bad. 
Not unless you believe every oppressed group in history also had their negative thought patterns to blame for their demise.

In my opinion “just” love and acceptance, is not going to cut it.
Which does not mean that you cannot choose that!
Love and acceptance can still be all the armor you will bring, but like Gandhi, it should be a conscious choice.
If you choose to turn the other cheek, because you have thought it through and these are the principles you live by.
But don’t let it be because you underestimate what you’re up against.

Okay.
So Evil in the modern age?
Do we have a concept of what to look for?
Where to look, where it resides/ its lair, and do we know what its weapons are?

I am by no means an expert, but I have a few pointers which might be useful to get you started and create your own perspective.

Evil is the absence of awareness and/ or consent is being bypassed
and/or the blocking of real connection

And another pointer is that evil comes with a resistance to bring this awareness, to bring light (a conscious decision or reflection) into its darkness.
Evil is darkness that comes with protection towards light.

You can recognize this protection by a quickening in the conversation, a skipping of steps, or (most commonly) a discussion or education about a certain topic starting past/after the point where the foundational decision has been made.

Think of it as the toothbrush trick for children, but now for adults.
“Do you want to use the blue toothbrush or the red?”
And us not noticing the decision to brush our teeth has been taken from us.

Whether this is evil depends on the response when being called out. This goes for systems as well as people.
If their response is irritation, pushback, and denial about their attack on our sovereignty;
Then their behavior is evil.

If they accept being called out, and acknowledge you caught them or are genuinely interested in where they missed the mark;
If they apologize and feel remorse, then no harm was intended.
But beware of the speed of this process!
If it’s too quick and they try to brush over the situation, then they are still evil because they are blocking real connection.

Which is the absolute hallmark of evil!

Anyone placing something in between you and them (f.e. a religious conviction, a judgement about you, a problem you need to solve for them, or a political color) is evil, because they are blocking you from knowing them and are forcing you to deal with their shield.
Maybe it is not that “they” are evil, but their behavior is, and you should be weary all the same.

As part of your defensive arsenal in general, I do recommend having a few of those distracting topics handy for your own protection.
Collect a few viewpoints which will repel people, preferably viewpoints that are authentically yours, but I would be liberal here.
And select on effectiveness over authenticity.
Know what to say, to create distance between you and someone violating your space.

Unless you go for the all love and peace option, but I don’t expect that will be too many of us.

Naturally, the areas people are unwilling to discuss also offer opportunities to weaponize their darkness against them.
Again, this is up for your conscious decision making if you want to go that way.

Remember that there is no awareness in evil.
It is not the act but the very absence of awareness that makes it evil, or that gives evil a doorway to come in. If you believe in dark entities then it is generally believed they hook on into the dark spots. That the more dark spots you have in your awareness, the more things you do not want to talk about, brush over, or are ashamed of, the easier it is for dark forces to latch on, which can be detrimental to you but also to those around you.

Evil entities who are not strong enough to reach people around you directly, can then hurt them through you.
This is when you hear words coming out of your mouth, wondering where the hell they came from!

Whether you believe in these unseen forces or not, the general gist of this first pointer (awareness/consent/blocking connection), and in all probability also of the second piece below, which I will write next, is;
Stay strong. Stay present. Stay aware.
Really show up in full connection with whomever you come in touch with.
And be prepared.

Okay second piece.
This, like the first part, is assembled from several singular points I had noted down. Hopefully being able to combine them into one fluent story.

Evil is when fear is brought to the table, when it is unclear who is responsible, when shame is involved

Fear.
Nothing good can come of it.
I know it is very popular to say things like fear being natural, and a protective device, but those opinions are not mine.
And if you can see me going down that road, please push this blogpost 9 November 2024, under my nose! Because I need to read my own words.

So why do I hold fear in such a low regard?
Because first of all you do not think clearly, when you are in fear. So by definition you are incapable of making a rational decision, because your mental capacity has been highjacked by this emotion.
And I will leave it to the experts in neuro psychology to come up with a scientific explanation, but I think I understand the gist of it, and that this claim is correct.
You’re not thinking clearly.
Stop.
Calm down.
And do not do anything until you have mastered your fear.

The second reason you should not do anything when you are in fear, is that your intention, your mindset, your manifestation abilities if you believe in those, are setup wrongly!
Because you’re holding this thing you’re fearful of, and that you’re trying to avoid or move away from, in your mind’s eye when you are making your move in this state. Which will always have detrimental effects.

You must move, decide towards, and act, on what you DO want.
Not panic out of fear.

But the third reason, and most relevant to the topic at hand, is that fear makes you manipulatable. 
All anyone, including evil, needs to do is to touch on your fear, and you’ll vote/buy/do anything to prevent your worst fears from coming true.

The person who is selling you something or informing you on something should never be the same person as the one telling you fearful things.
Because
a. they have a direct interest in you being fearful, because then you buy.
Ask yourself, if this person had not first touched on my fear, would I have bought?
And
b. because fear has cut back your brain power to make a well-informed decision.
So the person who informed you, should never be the one benefiting from your (hopefully temporary) weak position here.
If you want, come back when you’ve done your research and compared other opinions and options.

So someone who FIRST triggers your fear, or even creates an entirely new fear, only to then offer the solution, is evil.

Then the second thing I mentioned;
Fear is when no one is responsible.
Get your red flags out!

This can be a war type of situation where whole areas go without proper rule and the right of the strongest prevails.
But it’s usually a lot more subtle than that.
It is every promise, deal or rejection, that is not made in written form;
It is every situation without someone in charge.
It is everything that is implied but not said out loud.

Is it always evil?
Fortunately no.
If you ask:
“Who’s in charge?”
“What do you mean?”
or
“Will I receive that in writing?”
And someone cooperates, then it has stopped being evil. Whether from having been called out or because it was always all very openly discussed, does not really matter.

But making people take responsibility for what they say, want and need, should definitely become second nature to you.
Don’t give the devil free rides.

And then, finally, to close this blogpost with;
Things are evil when shame is involved.

Intimately connected to the concept of Fear, but definitely the better paralyzer of the two, we have the concept of Shame.
The reason it’s related is because Shame is fear of social exclusion.
The reason Shame is even more effective than Fear, in destabilizing and manipulating people and selling them absolutely on everything you want them to believe, buy or do, is because that fear of social exclusion, is our primal fear.

It’s even a bigger fear than our own physical death, because we know we will all die some day anyway, and the best thing we can hope for is to die surrounded by loved ones.
Exactly what social exclusion prevents.

Shame is fear of dying alone, weaponized.
If someone or something makes you feel ashamed about yourself that thing has got its fangs and claws into you so deeply, you will need Lion Courage to release yourself!
But do it!

I am handing you Lion Courage, Rock Star Courage RIGHT NOW!
YOU CAN DO IT!

Sit with it, let it wash over you, every situation where you feel, as they say that nowadays “cringe”.
Whether it is Shame or its little brother Cringe, take that Lion Courage and bring all of your awareness to it.
Because those are not just doorways where evil can come in, it’s more like the whole backwall of the castle missing.

And now, we are at the end of the blogpost.

It has become so much longer than I intended, and also far more serious.
And still I know I will go about the rest of my day thinking “Oh I forgot this one.” or “I should have said that”
Which brings me to the final characteristic of Evil.

It is the illusion of undoing.

Evil, is Live spelled backwards. It is the undoing of creation, it is destruction in all its aspects including undoing your own writing.
Or altering it.

If we want to become messengers of the light, we must allow the light to work through us. Our human ego must step back and we must let God, or Good, take the wheel.
Just like Evil uses our blindspots to enter, God, or Good, uses where our awareness is.

The best way to fight evil is to amp up on your awareness to its maximum potential, and to stay away from everything that lowers your consciousness. 
Let awareness become your coin, your wealth, your riches.

Your awareness is your light which is not just your protection from evil, but the way you can bring good into this world.

I know it’s not exactly a reputable source, but I think a meme I encountered last week sums it up!

You do not arrive in the New World.
The New World, arrives through you.

egregore, egregore, egregore

Repeating this word 3x is a wink to the new Beetlejuice movie, currently in cinemas.

But I don’t think these entities particularly respond to being called out by how they are named.

It’s worse;
Google them, and you’ll probably recognize you’ve felt their presence.
They do not require summoning at all.

Right of the bat, I’m going to admit I’m sharing something with you that I am not particularly knowledgeable about.
Yet when I encountered this concept, which was just a sidenote in someone’s talk, I immediately followed its trail.
With my fascination for the unexplained, I immediately understood that whatever that video or that teacher (who was new to me) could have told me, would no longer be holding up, compared to this.

That learning “Egregore” had been the reason their videos had crossed my path.
Not whatever it was they had to share.

And although when I dived into it, I was disappointed by the multitude of interpretations on what an Egregore actually was, and denounced the lack of consistency, that is of course to be expected when dealing with the beyond.

In particular when it has roots thousands of years old.

In ancient texts, Egregores are synonymous to The Watchers, and found under both of these names in a book which was removed from Christianity;
The Book of Enoch.
It dates to appr. 200BC and was part of canon for hundreds of years until it was basically what we would now call “cancelled”!
1500 years before that word even existed.

In The Book of Enoch, the Egregores/ Watchers can be both good (angels) or bad (fallen angels).

But in the 20th century and in ours, Egregores also started to become known as ideas, a collective consciousness, and even entities, that came into being from congregations of followers of those ideas.
And this can be an intentional congregation, like a church or events such as rock and pop concerts.
But these thought forms are largely formed unintentionally!

Through social media, and views expressed through news websites that color our understanding of it.

The modern interpretation of what an Egregore is, can be compared to what is known in psychology as mass formation or crowd formation, where the individual thoughts are replaced with collective ones.

This phenomenon got more well-known during the Covid pandemic, where indeed on both sides of the spectrum (both the conspiracy theorists as well as those in favor of government regulation; two sides both with blindspots the size of an Egregore!) seemed to be operating both outside of the paradigms of logic, as well as opposite to the values you would expect to be underpinning that logic.

The viewpoints were irregular, compared to everything that had come before.

Both sides were so deeply emotional, and required social situations to be free from any attempt to really poke your finger in the loopholes, that now looking back I find the word Egregore, as in its most modern day interpretation, particularly useful in describing what the f happened in 2020-2021:

For the first time in my life, I witnessed Independent Entities being created,
by large groups of people giving their consciousness to ideas which were not their own.
Once these monsters, these Egregores, had taken shape, they were so powerful because they were still attached to the people that birthed them.
They were manifested consciousness.

I remember so vividly the day the final regulations in The Netherlands were supposed to be lifted.
Friday 25th of February, 2022.
I wrote that down by heart, I did not look that up.

And I saw the date coming closer, and was skeptical because I thought:
“This is stronger than they are. This monster of fear cannot be deleted at will!”
I knew for a fact, that on the 25th of February 2022, nothing would change.

We’d have the same people being pro-vaxing, and pro-testing, and talking badly about conspiracy theorists, and of course on the other side of the spectrum nothing would change either, because they didn’t want anything to do with the regulations.

So the 25th came nearer and I was 100% sure I was right on this one.
The paper reality of the government, where they could just decree that we would now stop being afraid of Covid, would not change anything.

And then, guess what?
On Thursday the 24th, the war in Ukraine started.

An auspicious timing which definitely had the power to make a conspiracist out of everyone still on the fence after two years of pandemic!

But let’s not get into that. My point is of that course that everything had shifted on the 25th.
Like 95% of the people or something, who had been actively advocating or just neutral or leaning lightly towards the government;
We all snapped out of our pandemic nightmarish haze that had had its claws in us for two years, and we were awake.
To war.

So I had been wrong, because on the 25th everything had shifted after all!
But at the same time I had been right.

Because it had not been the paper decree of the government that had ended the two year thick cloud of fearful pandemic thinking. 
A cloud I would now have called, a diabolical being, an entity called an Egregore.

It had been the war in Ukraine, that had our attention.
And from one moment to the next, the Egregore no longer had access to our consciousness.
And it died.

There are still people who are fearful of Covid and believe the government should have kept up protecting us from it, to this day.
But I do not believe they are feeding into an Egregore!
They are their own person, they make their own decisions, and have thought this through.
Even during the pandemic, you could recognize these what I would call “hardliners” as being quite different to the majority, who seem to defend government regulations out of social code or loyalty.
Yet you could sense with the last group their heart wasn’t really in it. Emotions, yes, but heart, no.
And it was not as thought through, as with the hardliners.

I definitely think that from the get go, the hardliners had a consciousness and an awareness that the masses, including me I would say, did not have.
I have felt sick with regard to the social processes going on around me, throughout the pandemic, but absolutely lacked the clarity about what was going on, and was unable to formulate my own standpoint on the matter.
I was not myself, and I do not believe I have made in any way a useful contribution to pretty much anything, those years.

Maybe because of my inability to act or form my own opinion – despite recognizing the extreme situation was the ideal moment for anyone calling themselves a writer or a thinker, to offer a thoughtful perspective on the matter-
That the years changed me forever.
And not in a way I would wish for anyone to be changed, but I will never be the same again. Sometimes I fear I have lost my humanity, and became a dark thoughtform myself.
(I have called her Dark Suzy, and technically she was already around in 2018, but that’s a story for another day!)

Okay!
Back to the Egregores, which clouded our judgement versus the “virus hardliners” who in my opinion, did have access to their own mind!
And still do.

Disclaimer:
I definitely don’t know enough about the other (non-conformist, or conspiracist) side of the pandemic spectrum, to say anything about the nuances there.
I have no idea where their Egregore begin, versus whom really came up with their own ideas, to which they will stand by.

But on the neutral/ pro-government/ Covid-is-a-real-danger side of it?
I feel informed enough to say that anyone who after the 24th of February 2022 was still actively standing by their Covid-informed viewpoint, has proved their ideas were sovereign.

And everyone who on that 25th of February 2022, felt a noticable shift, as if despite the coming of the new war, they felt like something dark and malicious had gone up in smoke?
Those were people like me, whose minds and/or whose lives, had been affected by what I would now call an Egregore. 

On the 24th of February 2022 the Egregore died of starvation.
After having caused havoc, and having polarized our society causing deep wounds that will remain scars forever.

So maybe it is no coincidence at all, that the meaning of the word Egregore has changed over the centuries.
From the biblical interpretations, where they are spiritual beings or fallen angels, to the clean psychological perspective that they are not separate entities but simply a sociological phenomenon.

Maybe the collective-consciousness-driven, superpower Egregores, which we saw during the pandemic, really did not exist, until a few years ago.
Their existence linked to digital media.

But I invite you to think about what you witnessed during the pandemic, and make notes of what it is you saw.

The Egregores.

Regardless of their shape or form, regardless of your personal beliefs about where they come from;
In order to avoid falling prey to them, and losing control over your own mind;
And to understand the behavior of the people around you from as intimate as your own family or neighbors, to as big as a worldwide audience;
To familiarize yourself with at least the possibility, that there might be forces snatching away people’s mind, meaning that you will no longer be able to connect to them;

You have to know what you’re dealing with.

And you cannot take my word for it, nor anyone else’s.
You have to look into the mouth of the beast, and find out for yourself.

Egregore. Egregore. Egregore.

We investigate if in those areas, the rules you play by are yours, or society’s.
“3” is related to sexual freedom.
Like anything, it is up to you if that is part of our conversation or not.

Because all three points are just a suggestion, they offer a good framework providing one hour for every topic, to go deeper looking for answers.
But the setlist is not fixed.

I have merely built the stage for us, and we have three hours.

recognize evil

It is more often than not dressed mundanely, not extravagantly.
Its appearance ordinary, and with manners that are unpleasant yet could hardly count as malignant.
If it wasn’t for the ice cold shivers they gave you.

But beware most of all, if you feel lost, furious or sick, and no one is near.

If I am not mistaken, it was the movie Unbreakable – which as sort of a random ps, I just read was expanded into a superhero trilogy with Split (2016) and Glass (2019) –
where the villain, a man whom appeared vulnerable because his bones broke at the slightest pressure, explained how villains never know they’re villains.

A lesson we should all remember.

The entire idea behind right and wrong, is that there is an awareness in the do-er, about the ethics behind their wrongdoings.
That they are running this grand scheme, a layer on top of the real reality, of lies and deceit. All to willingly pull to them money, power, access and exclusivity that does not belong to them!

And there is this unspoken expectation that if we find out and call them out, it will come with some sort of gratification.
Like catching someone cheating with an ace up their sleeve.

But like the villain in the movie Unbreakable said:
Villains do not know they’re villains.
In their head, everything makes sense.

So it is pointless to have a conversation with a villain, because you will never get the apology, the remorse, nor the change in behavior you want because they will simply deny it.
Either because they have buried their memory of it;
Because they have rationalized it;
Or because the consequences of admitting their wrongdoings are worse than what can happen if they keep denying it was their ace and their sleeve.
They just burrowed the vest from someone at the local casino.

The crap you will hear, my friends.

So I never call someone out over anything-
I just pull up my boundaries, so that they no longer have access to the thing they’re stealing or acquiring through me.
And if I can’t, then I acknowledge that I am in danger, should practice great caution and make it a longer term project to change the situation, so that it can be done more safely.

But whatever you do, do not deny the evilness of what you see, just because the person who is doing it, is not aware of it.
The absence of awareness is the hallmark of evil.

But the greatest trick is even less costume-dress-up-devil worthy, and even more mundane.
And for this I have another movie to quote, although its quote is not a 100% match to the point I will be making.
But the quote is too good not to use.

 “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.”

The Usual Suspects

The biggest evil, in the sense that it is hardest to detect, avoid, explain and nearly impossible to fight is when no one is there, to take responsibility for it.

If I would ever give a TED Talk, I may choose this subject.
The nature of evil is that no one is responsible, because there is no one there.
So in a way, the greatest evil, is that IT exists, but it no longer has a bearer!

It is a ghost.

So what is this phantom evil?

Usually the blame is put on a large and impenetrable organization.

Following examples may be specific for The Netherlands, but I fear your country wherever you live, will have similar constructions.

Banks are responsible for fraud, instead of the police.
Tax services are responsible for giving allowances instead of social services.
You have to go through an impenetrable system to make an appointment with “a” medical provider (not knowing with whom because no one is responsible).
And no one is responsible for waiting lists to public services.

During the Covid pandemic, in the Netherlands, the government piggy backed the majority of their measures onto existing small business, bigger corporations and independents.
Turning them into henchmen.

If you wanted to have a business or ran a public building or service, where you saw people in real life; In 2020-2021?
You became an enforcer of the law.

Meaning that if anything went wrong you were in a confrontation with the client, student, employee, visitor or customer, and the government did not have to police 99% of civilians.

The people who had made the laws, had given the execution to others who were already in the system (entrepreneurs and public service workers).

But it’s not just the government throwing their responsibility over the fence of course.
Every time you lose an account from Facebook, Instagram and no one is there to help you, you encounter a situation where no one is responsible because no one is there and like David to Goliath you are fighting “the system”.
Which doesn’t give you anything to hold on to.
In 2024, Goliath is a ghost.

And then you have other citizens weaponizing those government organizations or impersonal big tech companies.

Blaming a malfunction in their phone for not contacting you.
The bank for not paying you.
Postal services for not delivering the letter.

And so on.

Real evil only has one form:
It is where no one is responsible.

Either because there is no awareness, or because responsibility has symbolically, sloppily and usually very much without any consent, been transferred onto someone else.

Anyone or anything, any situation, system or any organization in your life not taking full responsibility, or not crystal fucking clear of how they are responsible and whose job it is to help you fix things when something has gone wrong;

That, is where evil lies.

it will require all of you

The parts that suck.
The parts that shame.
The parts that blame.
The parts that f.

Bring them.

In the 90s there used to be this premium gasoline, and I can’t find anything about it on Google, so I will just have to share what I remember.
But looking back I would label it an attempt to make gasoline an emotional product. Like an identity or self-care or something.
It had a strange sounding name, or it sounded strange at the time and for the times.
Lofty.
Soft.

Marketing has evolved since then but putting two and two together, I really do believe that although premium gasoline is still around, that first attempt somehow missed the mark.
That the connection between the product and the image or emotion it was supposed to evoke was fabricated and was never going to work.

And the reason it wasn’t going to work, selling a fuel as, ugh, a lifestyle product of beauty of some sort…. jeez, just typing it out gives me the creeps;
But the reason it doesn’t work, is because the purpose of gasoline is not to be beautiful.
And in fact, it will harm a hell of a lot of beautiful things, like our earth, when doing what we bought it for.

We can’t afford going around associating gasoline with beauty, because we had to actually sacrifice thinking of beauty, had to come to terms with making a toxic imprint, just to get around.
Having gasoline remind us of beauty only aggravates our guilt over this.

You see, that’s the thing with what it is you’re here to do as well.
If you’ve decided that you are here to do big things, or to do small things but do them with great care, make them your life’s work, and that those things reflect your number 1 value and are your priority? 
You’re going to break some eggs to make the omelet.

You have to make peace with the fact that resources are going to be used for this higher good, and that this is how you will give them their purpose.
What will make them “good”.
That they had the pleasure of being used in an intentional way, that, is the biggest favor you can do them.

Just like we can’t afford ourselves to think about every liter of gasoline, once we have decided we need a car in order to get around and live our lives-
in the same way we cannot afford to think of whether the things we tap into and use to do what matters to us most;
Are good, or bad, or beautiful on their own accord.

They derive their purpose from being used or brought out, for the right reasons.

And the person you need to become in order to fulfil what you have identified as your work here on earth?
That person could very well be rocking the boat!
Even Mother Theresa made choices many of us did not agree with, but I think she knew why she drew the line where she did, and why she put her policies in place.
It was required to do her life’s work.
She didn’t have the luxury to judge every individual action.

And neither do you, but there is more.
More than just coming to terms with the breaking of the omelets.

Because unlike a motor, we can never be sure which fuel our projects require. So we better bring everything we got.

If we fear away from showing ourselves in full, berate ourselves for whatever mistakes we think we made in the past that make us less deserving?
We’re not all in.
We’re filtering out what we think is bad and unacceptable about us, but what if that is exactly the premium fuel your motor is going to require?

In particular when you think how, even quicker than car motors, the world changes, and with it the skill sets that are required to live in it.
What you think of as a bad characteristic or a bad experience, may be the skill or lesson that saves you one day.
Or that saves someone else.
Or that builds a whole new community, where thousands of people will find refuge.

Don’t knock anything, and bring everything.

And do the work you came here to do, now.

I know, I know!
And Hell Yes!
We’d ALL choose being the nice, sociable, comfi, Sunday school version of our real selves, when given the choice.

But trust me when I tell you;
There is no choice.

You either are, or you are not.
And you are.

There is no easy way to break the news, so I’ll serve it raw and bloody.

The entire world, including all things in it, tangible and intangible, are tailored to people who are wired in an ENTIRELY AND BY ALL ROCK STAR STANDARDS COMPLETELY SOPHOCATING AND NOT IN A CHOKE-HOLD ME WHEN YOU TAKE ME BUT A SUCKING THE LIFE OUT OF EVERY ORIPHICE KIND OF WAY

So no matter how hard you:
Try to make this world your own.
Accommodate.
Understand.
Adapt.
Bend.

The sinking feeling that something is horrible wrong will never be going away and will only get worse over time.
The end of the story is you’ll blow something up.
And with your blatantly obvious ability and willingness to not make this other people’s problem, this will mean you’ll blow up yourself.

Either you’ll kill the essence of who you are, by destroying your creative work or an object, social media account, files, or whatever, which is symbolic for your Rock Star Self.
Anything from setting it on fire, to simply turning your back and no longer showing up.

Or you will destroy something in your life;
That one relationship that made you feel vibrantly alive, euphoric even.
Destroy your consciousness by drugs and addictions of any kind.
Your sanity, by willingly opening the doors, of your own mind or your real life, to the deepest, darkest souls and demons  out there, in order to be consumed by them.

You will sacrifice your life to ugliness, in a desperate but I suspect successful attempt to let your mental inside to be as shattered and messed up, and devoid of beauty, as now your life outside is.

Shallow, meaningless and artificial.

Or, alternatively, you embrace your Rock Star powers for what they truly are, and for the very purpose they were given to you.

To rule the world.

And you will never need to regulate, plan, or fuss over, anything in your life ever again.

You’ll just jump right in, and wing it.

What if I told you the secret to being a Rock Star entrepreneur, artist, or even parent or employee?
And that although it is not easy, once I tell you;
You’ll know what to aim for!

It is to use chaos, pushback, mass, size, uncertainty and movement, as the very fuel of everything you do.

In Tantra there are lineages referred to as the Tantra of the Left Hand.
They did not choose the name, it was given to them by people of Tantra of the clean right hand.
Left Hand people do not separate between left and right or good and bad.

Left Hand Tantra is associated with the fierce Goddess Kali, and with rituals on cremation grounds.
It is (of course) associated with sex, but definitely not with the Sunday School version of Tantric sex for couples, we have seen rising in the west.

The main point this Tantra makes (as I have come to understand it) is that there is no good or bad.
But that as far as there is?
The bad is more powerful, more potent.
The fierce, is more powerful.

The quickest way to Enlightenment is not the rejection of darkness, but its full embrace.

A far less intimidating idea that can be derived from that;
Instead of running away from everything that goes “wrong” in your life?
Embrace it, with a fearless heart.

Open your mouth, stick out your tongue, spread your arms, eat, welcome in, the chaos.

Or even simply;
Feel the tremendous energy of all you thought was tense and difficult.

Your fiercest Self can not just handle this;
They need it to thrive.
