And you will never need to regulate, plan, or fuss over, anything in your life ever again.

You’ll just jump right in, and wing it.

What if I told you the secret to being a Rock Star entrepreneur, artist, or even parent or employee?

In Tantra there are lineages referred to as the Tantra of the Left Hand.
They did not choose the name, it was given to them by people of Tantra of the clean right hand.
Left Hand people do not separate between left and right or good and bad.

Left Hand Tantra is associated with the fierce Goddess Kali, and with rituals on cremation grounds.
It is (of course) associated with sex, but definitely not with the Sunday School version of Tantric sex for couples, we have seen rising in the west.

The main point this Tantra makes (as I have come to understand it) is that there is no good or bad.
But that as far as there is?
The bad is more powerful, more potent.
The fierce, is more powerful.

The quickest way to Enlightenment is not the rejection of darkness, but its full embrace.

A far less intimidating idea that can be derived from that;
Instead of running away from everything that goes “wrong” in your life?
Embrace it, with a fearless heart.

Open your mouth, stick out your tongue, spread your arms, eat, welcome in, the chaos.

Or even simply;
Feel the tremendous energy of all you thought was tense and difficult.

Your fiercest Self can not just handle this;
They need it to thrive.

it’s time to get the basics in place

And I don’t mean kicking your own butt because if you have not been doing what you very well know you should be doing;
Deeper powers are at play.

Your willpower is there to move your fired up, ready to rock,  Self forward!

But your enemies, whether internal or external sabotage;
Require a battle plan.

I am not sure when I will break my silence about this, but probably sooner rather than later, I will tell you what happened.
What it was that has pulled the rug from underneath me, after a lifetime of peace, pleasure and privilege.
All of which were even more brittle and more special than I already, gratefully, acknowledged they had been.
I had never taken them for granted.

However it took until it all fell apart, both from parts of my life no longer functioning as well as an unnamed feeling of misery and despair, all accompanied by a steady stream of widely varying health complaints,  from which years of sleep deprivation must have been the most undermining one, that I realized my whole life prior to that?
Had been a blessing of the highest order.

I had done nothing.
And I had received, everything.
Until something stopped working, but it wasn’t visible on the outside.

Yet everything had changed.
I am no longer the person I used to be.
She’s gone.

Now, on the cusp of getting my health and myself back, I can reflect and let the lessons sink in, of which there are many.
But the most important one is;
Don’t force yourself into doing something. Not even into chasing your dreams. The only work that can be successfully, is the one flowing out of you.

Now, I am defining “work” in an unconventional way here!
I mean:
What you do with the hours you can choose.

There can be many reason why we force ourselves to do work that pays us, even when it comes at the expense of having to sacrifice many things that are important to us.
I am not saying that is healthy, but it is an entirely different conversation.

What I mean is this;
Do not, in the hours that you have to devote yourself to the things that matter, MAKE yourself chase your dreams.

Instead get into the full acknowledgement that you are not, and that if those are really your dreams?
Well;
Then something is very, very wrong.

Imagine that you’re head over heels in love with someone, and simultaneously it is a tremendously busy time at your job.
You STILL make time to connect with that special someone.
Hell or high water.

That’s how it is with you and your dreams, and you know that.
You are naturally inclined to chase them, just like you are magnetically drawn to people you are in love with.

When you are healthy, as I have been the majority of my life, being happy, energetic, excited and doing the work (and “chasing” the people!) you have a passion for, is abso-fuckin’-lutely effortless!!!!

It does not require:
Planning.
Journaling.
Vision boarding.
Therapy.
Coaching.
An expert.
Drugs.
Emotionally regulating yourself.

It does not even require chocolate, and that is saying something because practically all things require chocolate 😉

Chasing, living, building your life, when you’re feeling good, does not require ANYTHING!
And it gives you everything.

So if you are not doing that, stop beating yourself up over it. Immediately. Starting now.
And acknowledge that something has been undermining your “efforts” (which should not have been efforts), undermining your life.

You have, an enemy.

External or internally; Something or someone requires you to stand up for yourself.
Your existence is under threat, physically, financially, or emotionally.

After acknowledging your life is indeed at stake, your task is to come up with a plan on how you are going to tackle that.
What are your resources?
Who are your allies?
Who have fought the same war, and might be willing to be your advisor or spokesperson?
Come up, with a real battle plan.

Once that is in place, your final step is to decide on the timeslots you’re taking time off from thinking or fussing about it.
To win your time back.
Your mind, your thoughts.

Even if 99% of your life is unchanged;
That 1% that you can now see as separate, that one moment where you can just breath and be, with yourself.
That is you, getting your basics in place.

And then you can reconquer your life from there.

Of course, you can improvise on the spot!
You do not, technically, need to have your structure, systems, habits and life, all figured out, in order to receive your wildest dreams come true.

But it would be pretty damn symbolic if you did, don’t you think?

This blogpost was supposed to have a strip of condoms, or a photo of a package of golden condoms against a dark background, as the photo.
But at first I backed out, choosing one with sturdy boots on a stage.

And then secondly, when I had come to my senses that Catacombe is not the place to be conveniently painting between the lines but an excellent opportunity if not DUTY- to go all in, and give the unfiltered message exactly as it came to me!
Well, secondly, Canva turned out to have only brightly colored photos of condoms and some even taken out of the package.
Which is not only a depiction incorrect for this title, but also a terrible thing to look at.

So aesthetics forced me back to the feet in boots anyway.

But the reason I originally chose the condoms, was because that was when I got the idea for this story.

I had deliberately taken stock of my condoms to check if the dates were in order, and if I was good to go!
Not because I have a new lover on the cusp of bursting into my life, far from;
But because I realized how symbolic it was.

That if I don’t know if I have good-to-go condoms in the house, then my consciousness is not holding space for sex to happen.
My mind, is with other things.

So if you claim to have dreams, big or small, that you are not seeing any signs of happening, or that get messed up all the time, just when you think they might or should happen?
Check your stuff, your things, the place it’s supposed to land.

Open that new bank account, create space in your calendar, buy a new pack, or whatever it is, that you would have done, if the thing or the person or the new version of you, came knocking your door today.
Although admittedly, that last one would be a bit scary.

But you understand what I mean.

What are the acts, the possessions, the plans, the Rock Star personality, and what is the content of your bedside drawer that symbolize you are The One?

The match made in heaven.

you’re exactly right for where you are meant to go

Your anxious restlessness, your unquenchable thirst, your lingering aggression already cracking through a paper-thin layer of civilized behavior;
Are, indeed, disturbing signs.

Just not of you.

It is remarkable how toxic, how debilitating, how all immersive the curse of human civilization has become.
Like the microplastics in our bodies, we would not be able to get them out, even if we could all agree they are harmful.
Which in all probability, when it comes to how unnatural and soulless our lives have become;
We will not agree on.

Not on if one tribe of pre-historic humans overthrowing the other, and the real risk of ending up in a cooking pot or between the jaws of a wild animal, was not actually the better deal all along.

But what I do know is this;
The past ten years, between 2014 and 2024, the internalization of small, repressive, industrialized or better “digitalized”, thinking has taken flight.

That if we look back now, at the 1999 movie Fight Club, and we see it raging against the machine of 9-5 productivity and how corporate culture turned us into zombies;
We see a world that was still surprisingly simple, to get out of.

At the turn of the century, Tyler Durden’s rules dictating how to run the secret groups and ultimately overthrow the system, were still sufficient to stay under the radar.

Yes, I know.
We now have digital warriors, and on all sides.
Fight Club’s current day Project Mayhem would have been an army of them, without a doubt.

But it all brings us back to the question;
Is it all worth it?

Or should we start celebrating every real-life, physical, dirty and challenging, soul still roaming this earth?
Be that person, and rise as high and as far, and as often as we can, into uncharted territory. Turn our backs, on everything nibbling at our free thought, capping our free speech, and devouring our consciousness.

And be free.

you need to know this! to thrive in any industry | Specify. Sell. Repeat. { March offer }

If I would have to pinpoint when I became a “marketing addict”, I would say 2015 at the absolute latest.
And 2008 at the earliest, because I have memories of taking a course and finding a business coach when I was living in a house I left January 2009.
So I know it was that early.

And I remember vividly, the feeling of having been introduced to a circle of knowledgeable entrepreneurs…
Who knew something that was unheard of in the Netherlands, or at least almost never practiced.

But above all;
I felt it was something I needed, to make my yoga business a success.

I was wrong about one thing;
It was not a secret to making my yoga business a success.

But right about something else;
It was something local businesses could profit from tremendously!

The “something” I found, is known as marketing for small businesses.
And I was right in suspecting as early as 2008 that it was not applied by independent professionals and small businesses in The Netherlands.
Which holds true to this day.

In fact it is shocking in how many industries – where industry stands for a branche of professionals who all sell a specific type of work – still have a taboo on actually actively selling.
You can share what you’re doing, you can network with professionals from other industries telling what your work is, and you can join trade unions and do anything from taking extra courses to working according to protocols to earn extra credentials;
But woe betide, should you actually show up to sell your work!

The audacity.

In fact, before I continue, I can already make it really simple that IF you are in an industry where it is spoken about in hushed tones if you actually show up and sell;
You already know that you are in an industry where something is at play that marketing alone, including marketing for small businesses, is not going to fix.

So let me just name a few independents who might have experienced being frowned upon asking for the sale, and in particular when asking premium prices:
– historians
– artists
– independent healthcare workers
and of course:
– yoga teachers

If you too experience resistance to:
– freely determine what service you offer
and
– how you want to price them
Then you too are in one of these industries, that needs a closer look, before you can benefit from marketing.

To understand where this resistance to you stepping into your bigger professional boots comes from, we should look at industries everyone understands what they entail;
AND they are commercially funded.
So although they may be essential workers, they are not publicly funded.

Examples of independent professionals, working in the commercial sector, where everybody understands what their work entails are:
-mechanics
and
-lawyers

We all
-know when we need a mechanic or a lawyer
and
-we all know it is going to cost us.
These are not services which are government funded.

So!
If you experience resistance selling your services, and/or have experienced resistance from your audience or peers thinking you selling is inappropriate?
Then either:
-it is unclear what your service is, compared to the clarity a lawyer or mechanic can offer
Or
-people are not used to paying for it, usually because it is part of the public service industry or because the market is rigged and the service is being delivered cheaper elsewhere using underpaid labor and/or resources from unregulated countries. 

This means that your industry, is either:
– immature (it is not clear what your offer)
Or
– not on a free market
In this second case (your industry not being on the free market) it is actually the case that, the free market of your industry, is immature.
So people are used to seeing the service, but only in a publicly funded context.
The free-market portion of your industry, is hardly developed (immature).

In both cases we’re dealing with immature industries, which are always recognized by ONE characteristic:
1.All pricing is similar
This is actually a result of the broader taboo on selling.
But your industry is immature if there is no diversification in offers.
If there are no VIP offers, premium pricing, or professionals who only operate at this higher price point, then your industry is immature.

If your industry is not a public one, so you’re not an independent working in health care industry or education, then there is a second characteristic your industry is not mature:

2. There are no fulltime jobs doing your work
You can be a lawyer or a mechanic on a salary, but you can hardly be a writer doing a 40 hour job, nor a yoga teacher or an artist.

So to loop this whole thing back to the beginning of this story:
Where small business marketing absolutely has the potential to work like a charm, if you are in an immature industry?
It is definitely more difficult than it should let’s say “logically” be, at first glance.
Because you “also” or “first” have to overcome the price-dampening characteristics of your industry.

Overcoming this price dampening effect can be done in TWO ways;

1.You increase the clarity of what it is you do.

So you “coin” your industry, until people understand it the way they understand what a lawyer or a mechanic does.

For example, you SELL your paintings in an easy, fun, pret-a-porter manner, “as if” you are running a Go-to House Decoration account  on Instagram.

“As if” between quotation marks because you will soon actually become, the Go-to House Decoration account on Instagram.

You have now successfully turned
my car broke -> mechanic needed
Into:
I need to decorate my house -> artist needed

In this first scenario, WHAT you sell stays the same. 

Or, you can overcome the flat-priced industry by:

2.Diversifying your offering!

Just because all the others in your industry do not have monthly subscriptions, premium pricing, temporary offers, exhilarating launches, Inner Circles, private client work, group courses that have “Doors Open!” and “Doors closing!” dates?
Does not mean you can’t!

A healthy, mature industry, is one where everyone immediately understands what’s on offer, and when it is needed.

Ideally, every industry should provide clarity around this, so that any professional can open shop, and make a living with zero marketing.
Every industry, ideally, should be as clear cut as the work of mechanics or lawyers.

But if that is not your industry, you can still make a living:

-making your work just as clear as that of a lawyer or a mechanic
But you will need to keep communicating this, because your industry has failed to provide it for you.

And/or
-you can diversify your work by, quoted from above
“monthly subscriptions, premium pricing, temporary offers, exhilarating launches, Inner Circles, private client work, group courses that have  “Doors Open!” and “Doors closing!” dates” 

As a yoga teacher back in 2008 or 2015, this meant I had the choice between:
-offering my yoga classes in a very clear way
For example I could have called it: 

Yoga
exercise for health

Have a website, some flyers and otherwise zero marketing.

-making my yoga services exciting
By offering 6 week – beginner courses, a monthly study group, private yoga packages, 1-on-1 yoga membership, and an annual group program that started in September and ran through June the following year.

And that, would have been the only thing I needed to know about marketing.
It would have last me, a lifetime.

your persona is a necessity

And for more reasons than one, and none of them because your ego needs pampering.

The world has changed, and far, far more than we can currently comprehend.

But we can no longer walk around barefoot.

The past five months, my work has absolutely flatlined. The moment I started a Dutch yoga company called “De Club“, which meant I had to set-up both a local yoga business again, as well as create content for my Dutch YouTube channel, where I would run the same program as in my classes;
Nothing, got done.

And because in many other areas of life, October 2023 to February 2024 have been five drama-filled months, it took me a while to realize that the reason of the flatlining was a different one.
That even though after a hiatus of being a yoga professional, I had obviously given this whole idea of starting teaching yoga again a lot of thought;
It had not been enough.

I had never been blocking because of circumstances, the blueprint of my new yoga work was simply incomplete (at best).
The design had not been completely thought through, and it had been the circumstances, which had prevented me from muscling through.

A blessing in disguise.

Because even though the series and the classes had already begun, and I have felt bad about not promoting them and about not creating new content for this series which was supposed to have weekly videos (or I did create it, and then threw the videos away);
It would have been worse if I had been able to sustain it.

If after six months of creating content, and promoting my classes promising a certain thing- I was then brought to a halt because of things happening in my life, and then put in reverse because I no longer felt a click to the work I was offering.

At least now, the damage is minimal.

The short version of what happened is that I was too focused on the yoga  itself, both in my videos as well as what I thought my classes would be about-
That I had overlooked the world has changed so much, the real work lies  in there.

In changing the world.

In teaching “yoga practitioners” at a very early stage, ages before they will even think about starting yoga, how to create a LIFE, that can actually hold yoga.

Similarly to me needing to focus on creating a LIFE, that can actually hold making yoga videos and running local classes.

I call it teapot and tea;
If we don’t have a teapot (our life does not have structure), then we cannot hold tea (a yoga practice).
Learning yoga, or making plans to do yoga, will not be effective until we have a structure it can go into.

Just like a plan to make yoga videos and to build new local yoga classes is futile, as long as I do not have the life structure in place that will hold this.

I even created a new international platform, Club Local Yoga, to do this work for the world, because the way I see it, we’re all in it.
No one, has escaped their world and reality having been altered to one that can no longer hold yoga, or any of the things we used to take for granted.

The teapots of our lives, are broken.

The way I see it, smartphones and internet have been hacking our brains, compromising our sense of time and affecting our ability to focus on our body. To focus on the now.

Internet and smartphones have doubled our realities, and multiplied problems of keeping our thoughts coherent and on things that matter.
Every click brings a new algorithm fighting for our attention.

There is too much to talk about, and this blogpost has already surpassed the level of being a quick message for Rock Stars.
But let me illustrate it with this;

Where having a “Rock Star persona” in the 20th century was something you only needed if you wanted to become a Rock Star, whether in music or in a different field, a different career;
In the 21st century, having Rock Star boundaries, focus, boldness, and faith in yourself, is a prerequisite.

Fifty years from now they will look back at the tens (2010-2019) as the time we all disappeared into our phones. Where most of us drowned, in the flood of media. Where we no longer had free will, but were ruled by the noise of the world.

My guess is in the late 30s, we will see a broader movement on the liberation of people from their phones and other media.
Leading to a time when we know how to balance the online with the offline.
To create a teapot that can hold both a smartphone as well as yoga, and other things we value.

But until then, it’s going to require Rock Star strength for you to be successful IN the world, which will largely require your online presence too;
And at the same time to be offline, and train and preserve the concentration and PRESENCE, that is an incremental part of your skillset.

It will require every inch of your Rock Star personality, and for extensive periods of time, to keep your teapot whole, your integrity intact, and the foundation of your life in place.
So you can build a life.

And the blink of an eye, to see it burned to the ground.

We investigate if in those areas, the rules you play by are yours, or society’s.
“3” is related to sexual freedom.
Like anything, it is up to you if that is part of our conversation or not.

Because all three points are just a suggestion, they offer a good framework providing one hour for every topic, to go deeper looking for answers.
But the setlist is not fixed.

I have merely built the stage for us, and we have three hours.

It is up for you to take it.

A few years ago, I started a website for my non-rock related pieces.
Which was something I never expected to need, because I have an alterego where I can discuss all the movie-related, artistic, and meta topics I want!
Had it for over 15 years.

An entire identity, fully separate from being Suzanne Beenackers, the Rock Star Writer from Nijmegen The Netherlands (who did not come into being until 2019, when I started the Rock Star Writer website)

So why on earth, would I need a new English blog for my deepest thoughts, about the nature of art, the source of our calling;
And about the nature of time, space and how we can be in it, in a creative way?

Instead of resorting to our day-to-day grind which suffocates and dumbs down the complexity of not just the nature of reality, but our very humanness….

Couldn’t I just keep the complex stuff “over there”, with my alter-ego, and allow for my work under my real name to be limited to the rock star topics, the yoga topics, and a Dutch blog which main purpose was to keep me connected to the world I am actually living in?

Could I for once, ignore the meta, far-and-beyond level of Life, if not to not burden my readers then to not mess up my status as a professional?

Apparently;
No.

And for the first year or so, the blog which I thought was going to be just a little something extra, brought forth my most profound work under my real name.
And it was even so good, that I nicked some of them, to publish in a book under my secret alter-ego.

It was obvious that even if it was for no one else, I, personally, needed this website to keep myself connected to this world behind the veil.
And to do it under the name of Suzanne Beenackers.

The website I started was called World between Worlds, and although the  final post is from 18 months ago (and a project I dropped after one post);
The older work is consistent and profound.

When I recently had to extend the subscription to keep the url/domain up , -an annual event that is bound to spark feelings of “do I really need this”!- I did so understanding that the answer was, and would always be:
“Yes”.

Because regardless of how you call it, God, Source, The Universe, or prefer to think in terms of the quantum and parallel realities like “World between Worlds”, like I did;
Every artist, and that includes any alter-ego you create, needs access to it.

Because we are not the creators in this world;
We are only its voice, we are its hands, we are the ones who transfer the world of the metaphysical into the physical.

Whether we were chosen or appointed ourselves, or never bothered to think about how we ended up becoming what others perceive as the creators of this world;
We are only, ever, to bring forth what already lay beyond.

Nothing, ever, needs creating.
Not by us, anyway.

I have been consistently posting “What Do Rock Stars Need To Hear Today” for a while now.
Starting June 2023, they found their final form as blogposts here on the Catacombe blog, pretty quickly.

But I’ve always been aware there were singular posts/ borderline poetry, still on social media, floating somewhere down my timeline.

Some at the beginning when I did not know what this series would be.
Some around the time in October/November 2023, when I lost access to this site.
And then a few in between.

And additionally to that, there are the ones I did post on the blog, but whose stories revolve around things I no longer offer.
I will retrieve those too;
And give them a new story, that has the timeless quality they deserve.

Not because of fears vanishing as soon as you shine the light on them.
And not even because you grow from challenging your demons.

And there could even be a bigger foe, suddenly awakened, now that the middle man has been taken out.

But this game of life belongs to you.
It is your job, to know what’s going on and who’s on the board.

It is ironic that I mistook the picture I used for a cloaked figure, like a monk or a Nazgul Ring Lord from Lord of the Rings.
Until I clicked the description and it said:
“A silhouette of a wolf howling on a mountain top”
And then I recognized the wolf.

That is how easy it is to mistake an adversary or a more abstract concept of a life challenge, for something else.
Is it what you think it is?
And do you think it is subject to what your mind believes it to be?
How far does the rabbit hole go of you actually creating your reality?

So come closer, take a better look. Study, whatever is worth avoiding, or what you assume will need great effort overcoming.
Familiarize yourself with it.
Ring Lord, howling wolf, or others for whom you have long changed your path.

What would happen if from now on, you stuck to the path that leads to where you want to go?
And trust that you were capable of meeting anyone, or anything, on it.

You may even find a friend.

What is the work you love doing, what are the moments big or small, that you know you are aligned. Has God told you, what you’re here for?
This is about creative freedom, or even karmic freedom.
Are you free to do the work, that is yours?

3. your Rock Star expansion
What is the fullest expression you are here to bring?
And what are the areas you’re playing small, as if cut off from your powers?
We investigate if in those areas, the rules you play by are yours, or society’s.
“3” is related to sexual freedom.
Like anything, it is up to you if that is part of our conversation or not.

Because all three points are just a suggestion, they offer a good framework providing one hour for every topic, to go deeper looking for answers.
But the setlist is not fixed.

I have merely built the stage for us, and we have three hours.

It is up for you to take it.

There is a deep level of truth within you, that when betrayed arises as awareness no longer being present.
Immediately.

Not being aware, equals the deepest betrayal of Self.

Find her.

One of the reasons I feel it is adamant for me, to work as an independent, and in an unregulated profession, is that I would have no idea how to keep my integrity if I had to work in a payroll job.
Nor the patience of having my peers telling me how to do my job.

Not because they (an employer or a trade union) are out of integrity;
But because communicating and verbalizing what integrity is, is a maze that should have come with a map, signposts, and been preceded by a fundamental discussion on the rules, meaning Values, we are agreeing on, how they are ranked, and on the goals and the vision we have for our profession.
Where does the maze lead.

Which even if we would agree on the outcome of that – or if I was informed on the set of Values the organization has and I willingly submitted to them-  would still not cover for the gut feeling of Right or Wrong.
Nor would it make for an exclusive interpretation on their execution.

The first thing regimes that have ruled in dictatorship do, is to change the law, so that what they do is on paper right.
So now if you have a gut feeling it is not right (you feel they are out of integrity), you no longer have the law on your side.

You could even state that when you are in a situation where it is required that you verbalize how something is against your integrity, you’re already on your way out.
Because the other person is simply no longer going to listen, as soon as you tell them that what is asked or is being done goes against your integrity.

They will want to get rid of that feeling they’re doing something wrong, and since they were doing fine until you brought it up, the solution is simple;
You need to apologize, or you need to go.

So although our stomach will churn, our heart will skip a beat, and the breath will be taken away from us as soon as something is out of integrity.
Although the shock that apparently you are among people who have lost the ability to identify, or to stand up to, the evilness and the festering toxicity of the situation, spreads deep into our bones like cold fire;
And although we are lost for words, right now, when we need access to the most diplomatic, neutral set of them.

We must stay in integrity.

only you know where your heart lies

It is no small feat, to feel passion;
The unstoppable current that overflows all reason.
That in fact, overflows all that is NOT meant for you.

This power was given to you, and not to ignore it.
But to let it lead the way.

Valentine’s Day is a good one, isn’t it?
To share with you the power, not of undying love but of temporary passion that does not possess the unconditional characteristics as Love capital L does.
Or unconditional characteristics it should have, anyway.

Because Love should never be conditional.
With my recent breakup from my Lover (not partner!), at first I saw the fact that I still love him, and feel myself attached and bound to him -in the most visceral way- as a hindrance.
Something childish even, and definitely not a good strategy to make sure my post-50 life will have the same sexual zest, as it has had for as long as I can remember.

Judging from what I see around me, the second half seems to be dominated by stories of settling, tales of lack, and lessons of first making dating and finding a new partner the center of your very Universe and agenda, before maybe, you find someone to have a relationship with.

All things I refuse to settle for as being my story.

I’ve always had a strong sexual identity, and from when I was about 13 years old, I have fallen in love with boys and movie stars, rock stars and one tv personality.
My “practice” was being a romantic, much more than it was being sexually active.

Now that I am over 50, and I have to re-establish my sex life, still being attached to my former lover, AND ALSO refusing to settle, and refusing to invest time and money in dating, this feels like the most risky, borderline stupid thing to do at this point.

Romantic love, regardless of your age, does not fall out of the sky.
And if you’re aiming at pure passion, bypassing more subdued relationship forms, then staying emotionally attached to the lover you had, is not wise.

And yet?
Yes it is.
It is, if at the same time I can accept and even celebrate that he has moved on, and is creating his dreamlife.
Even if it is without me.

So there you have the two forces that are given to you.
TWO forces we more often than not dismiss, ignore, or talk ourselves out of:

1.the force of unconditional love

The Love, capital L, that you can still feel for someone even when they don’t “choose” you. That you can bask in the feeling of being happy for them, without needing anything back.

Never, ever, ignore a love that you can experience in this way.
And alternatively:
Never invest in any love, that requires you to get something out of it.
The only love that exists is unconditional Love. Capital L.

2.the force of passion

I define passion as a deep desire to be with someone or something, as well. For example I have a passion for Bon Jovi, so I want to listen to their concert bootlegs and write about them.
Which is also linked to my relationship with other people who like Bon Jovi. Internet allows me to share my love for Bon Jovi, which is how it multiplies.

But passion of course also refers to a physical, sexual longing. 
This too, in my opinion, was not given to you to ignore.

It’s not meant to be ignored when TWO people, feel this sexual longing for each other at exactly the same time!
I know I am ignoring an array of social taboos and financial and other pragmatic co-dependencies here–
but within the endless conversations about painful sexual experiences, non-consensual sex, and about unwanted celibacy and the tragedy of so many people not being able to enjoy sexually satisfying lives;
How can two people being head over heels in love and wanting to jump onto each other possibly be a bad thing?

How can we ever hope to say No to unhealthy relationships, to things that suck our soul out of us;
“No”, to situations that kill our personal growth and mutilate our identity;
When we do not know what Yes, means?

Never ignore things, interests, or people, that you feel passionate about.
Always respect the Yes of your heart!
As well as the Yes from the powers a bit further South.

Regardless of how much gets stirred up;
Never ignore things, interests, or people, you can give your unconditional Love to, or that you feel passionate about.
