To another episode of A Rock Star Take On

Three months ago I ended a bunch of series, blogs and this channel.
At the time seemed to be a good idea, it certainly was the logical choice!

The rules of this series are staying the same:
– the video is about 10 minutes long
– no preparation

And this time I took the No Preparation part so serious, I didn’t know what this one was going to be about, until the last minute.

2. Going All In 01:11
This is going to be a Rock Star Take on GOING ALL IN
Because I realized that’s what’s going on here.

Going all in means:
“Where are you prepared to go beyond what’s logical?
What do you want so badly, you don’t even want to know what you will have to sacrifice?”

A striking example is when people start families, they never calculate in advance what having children will cost them: Financially, in terms of lack of freedom, other restrictions, limitation in growth paths available to you, and so on.

To go all in, means to choose for something that is no longer logical.
Which are ultimately the only things that will satisfy, at Rock Star levels.

You want it, you choose it, and you’re willing to absorb whatever you need to, because you made that choice.

3. Going all in for me personally 05:03
I’m going all in on content creation.
This has made me change my stance on this series:
It is not because I have come to a different logical conclusion.
From a logical perspective, it still doesn’t make sense.

But through the lens of being prepared to go all in, I’m taking it all back on board.
Free time and social life, will be sacrificed!
Because that’s what going all in means.

4. Recap 07:00
Going all in is for sure the most Rock Star thing to do.
But it gets even wilder if you do it on something that is not embedded within our existing social structures.
If the thing you go all in on, is something you only do for yourself, there are no easy wins.
But there’s also more clarity on it being the right thing, because there can be no ulterior motives.
