Physically, mentally, financially, time-wise;

I don’t consider myself psychic. Or, if I’m honest, I do still consider myself psychic, but all evidence points to that I’m not since all predictions I made with regard to love, have proven to be false.

Luckily for me, these were not events that played out on a world stage, and if I had not told you about it you would not have known.
So no harm done.
Yet it frustrated me I got this wrong, and started toying with the idea of making my intuition and psychic abilities more accurate.

I landed on desiring an endgame where everything was told to me by spirits or higher powers.
Accurately, preferably.
But the whole experience of being informed by higher powers or mystical entities alone, was already highly appealing.

Around this time, when I realized all my predictions had fallen flat, someone said that they would never “contact” unseen powers or “entities”
Quotation marks for contact, because I would never actively contact through a seance or anything. And quotation marks for entities, because I don’t have a less spooky word.
But you get the idea.

Words and nuances aside, it was clear that I held a different belief in the matter.
And not because I thought contact with the unseen was always harmless.
I understood the concern.
But there was a difference of opinion, which was that I was much more weary of the dangers of everyday interactions and of systems that hold our society together.

The legal and financial consequences of marriage or having your own business for example.

I’m not saying it’s healthy to overthink these kinds of constructs, but to me these unforeseen consequences of regular life choices are more scary than the idea of accidentally opening the gates to hell.

Being vigilant of who or what you allow into your life, is a 24/7 job.
It cannot be limited to keeping out the Ouija board.
